2009-03-16 Call for Proposals for Accessible Communties for Individuals with Disabilities Project
The RA Ministry of Labor and Social Issues (MLSI) and the USAID Armenia Social Protection Systems Strengthening (SPSS) Project request town and district communities in the city of Yerevan to submit proposals for “Accessible Community” project in partnership with NGOs. The goal of this initiative is to create a user-friendly environment for people with disabilities, and help to make the chosen communities in the Republic of Armenia accessible for people with disabilities.
Eligibility: Communities in partnership with officially registered non-governmental organizations are eligible to submit proposals for this competition.
Competition Schedule and Application Procedure: A detailed request for proposals (in Armenian and English) describing the competition goals and objectives, selection criteria and application instructions can be obtained from RA MLSI website http://www.mss.am/, SPSS Project Office, located at 18 Baghramyan Str. A pre-bid informational seminar for potential applicants will be held at 3:00 p.m. on March 24, 2009. The deadline for proposal submission is April 6, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. All proposals should be sent to the above address. Competition winners will be announced by May 6, 2009.
